Sandra Benabou is a lawyer for more than 10 years. Sandra Benabou joined Nicolas Herzog and Isabelle Védrines's team at the law firm Racine in 2010 as an intern, and kept working there as a junior associate from 2011 till 2014.
After working together at Vaughan Avocats from 2015 to 2017, Sandra Benabou and Nicolas Herzog, with many years of experience of working together, decided to become independent and create a niche law firm with its own identity. This is how Sandra Benabou participated with Nicolas Herzog in the creation and development of H2O Avocats and became Partner in 2019.
Sandra holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Institut de Droit des Affaires from Aix-en-Provence (awarded), and a Master's degree in Business Law from the University College of London (UCL), in London, UK.
Sandra has also worked at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich, Germany.
Sandra is involved in all areas of the firm's expertise, both in consulting and litigation, and works equally in French or English.
When GDPR became applicable in 2018, Sandra decided to strengthen H2O Avocats' panel of services, by developing a specific expertise in the field of personal data protection. She thus supports public or private companies, from the very small company to the international group, in their compliance efforts.
Sandra is a DPO certified by AFNOR since november 2021.
She is registered as an approved representative by the EPO.
Sandra is also a member of the French Association "Droit&Commerce".
